What is this?
A programme specification is produced for all programmes of study or pathways, as part of the approval process. It includes a concise description of the intended learning outcomes from the programme, and how these outcomes can be achieved and demonstrated. It can be used as a source of information for teaching staff, students, employers, internal validation and review panels, external examiners and professional and statutory regulatory bodies.
Programme specifications are updated annually by the programme team and approved by Faculty Boards of Studies.
